Student Transportation Assistance Program
Introduction
The University of New Brunswick (UNB) is primarily a commuter campus, with many students relying on personal vehicles or public transportation to travel to and from campus. Transportation costs can be a financial burden for students, impacting their ability to focus on their academic and extracurricular commitments. To help alleviate this challenge, the University of New Brunswick Student Representative Council (SRC) has established the Student Transportation Assistance Program.
Purpose
The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance to students who may be struggling with transportation expenses. By offering a one-time Gas Gift Card, Bus Pass Reimbursement, Uride Discount, or Taxi Reimbursement for Emergencies, the SRC aims to support students in accessing reliable transportation, reducing financial stress, and enhancing their overall university experience.
