Events & Projects Supported by the SRC

The SRC funds a variety of events and projects that contribute to student life and improve the UNB Saint John campus. Below are the events and projects that the SRC contributes to annually.

Health and Social Innovation Project

The SRC has committed to fund $5,500 annually over 10 years to the Health and Social Innovation Project. This funding ensures dedicated student space in our new Health and Social Innovation building that will replace the current Ward Chipman Library.

Graduating Student Leadership Awards

The graduating student leadership awards recognizes students who have made a significant contribution to our campus and have shown great leadership qualities in their time at UNB Saint John. The awards presented by the UNB Alumni Association is proudly sponsored by the SRC to recognize students who have improved our campus.

Uzo Memorial Tournament

UNB Saint John lost one of its most vibrate international students - Uzochukwu Joshua Arinze Chinemelu, in a tragic drowning accident, and every year UNB Saint John holds this soccer tournament in his memory. The SRC is a proud sponsor of this event.
