Find the schedule for the SRC’s Mental Health Week below. Join us for a variety of mental health related events and activities from Monday, January 25th to January 29th. Thanks to our mental health clubs & societies and our university partners for their help and support with mental health week.
Mental health trivia
Monday, January 25th, 7pm
How well do you know your Mental Health Trivia? Join the event to learn about mental health and the resources offered while playing for a chance to win prizes. The winner of each of the 3 rounds will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. This month's Trivia will be hosted by our UNB Saint John counsellors Trish Pendleton and Cat Paulin.
Virtual Yoga
Tuesday, January 26th, 6pm
Give your mind a rest by joining Tara O’Toole’s yoga focused on bettering your mental health. This workout is designed for small spaces. Don’t worry, you don't turn on your camera!
Youth Talking to Youth about Mental Health
Tuesday, January 26th, 8pm
Two trained youth speakers will use the power of their personal stories to educate other young people about mental health and how to connect to help. Students can submit mental health questions and engage directly with Jack Talk speakers during the live part of the session.
A 10 Minute Mental Vacation
Thursday, January 28th, 1pm
Take a break from your day and join UNB Saint John counsellor Cat Paulin as we embark on a voyage without leaving the comfort of our homes. Using mindful practice daily can lower stress and make it easier to feel in control of our emotions.
Virtual Zumba
Thursday, January 28th, 7pm
Join a live Zumba session hosted by Eliane Knox. This is a great way to work on both your mental health and physical health. This workout is designed for small spaces. You will be able to keep moving even though you don’t have a lot of room. Don’t worry, you don't turn on your camera!
