Student Health Centre

The Student Health Centre offers confidential nursing and physician services that address the health care needs of all UNB Saint John students. It is located on campus just behind the Athletics Centre. SRC Health & Dental Plans

The SRC offers Health & Dental Plans to all full-time students. Students will see a charge to their accounts at the beginning of the fall semester. Upon providing proof of valid alternate coverage, students may “opt out” of the Health Plan at www.wespeakstudent.com and receive a credit on their account. WeConnect

WeConnect is a service provided by funding through your university fees that gives current students access to online and in-person mental health resources and counselling. Using WeConnect, you can speak with registered mental health professionals anytime by calling or texting 1-888-377-0002. You can get started with WeConnect by clicking here


Counselling Services

UNB Student Services offers a range of free, confidential short-term mental health services to undergraduate and graduate students. UNB Peer Supporters provide confidential help to students experiencing mental health struggles. Peer Supporters are trained and certified through the Canadian Mental Health Association and supervised by Counselling Services. Through their own lived experience and training, Peer Supporters will listen, share and offer resources. Wellness Coordinator

The Student Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator can help you navigate all the different services available to students at UNB Saint John. This is a great first point of contact and they can be reached by email at stuserv@unb.ca to make an appointment.


Sexual Assault Support Advocate

The Campus Sexual Assault Support Advocate or CSASAs are specially trained to support students who have experienced sexual violence. They can provide counselling, help report an incident, arrange accommodations, seek medical help and much more. You can reach the CSASA by email at csasa@unb.ca.

Campus Trails

The UNB Campus Trails are maintained in partnership between the SRC and the Green Society. Access to the trails is next to the gravel parking lot at the back of campus. You can find more information about the trail system and a trail map here: www.unbsrc.ca/recreation-wellness


Community Garden
