The Green Society is a student-led, environmentalist organization dedicated to improving and promoting environmental sustainability, awareness, and stewardship, on campus and in the community. Green society promotes awareness of environmental issues and green initiatives such as community cleanups and sustainability workshops.

Community Volunteering Club is devoted to providing students with opportunities to serve the greater Saint John community through volunteerism. This looks like groups of students volunteering at Romero House community kitchen and monthly outreach events. Create a safe and positive space where students can enhance their spirit of volunteerism and empathy for the community. Work with other organizations/clubs on providing volunteering and fundraising opportunities.

Club 3:16 is a Christian fellowship group devoted to providing everyone the opportunity to learn more about Jesus Christ and gather together in community. Club 3:16 has weekly gatherings, bible studies, worship nights, and outreach events to serve both the on-campus and surrounding community. Global Medical Brigades is an international non-profit organization that brings together students and healthcare professionals to develop sustainable health systems in our partner communities in Guatemala. Each year, we travel to under-resourced areas where access to healthcare is otherwise limited or nonexistent. Additionally, as a group, we engage in local outreach initiatives to support the health needs of the Saint John community.

The Golden Key International Society is committed to the advancement of academics, leadership, and service. Golden Key provides academic recognition to high-achieving students and establishes professional and social contacts for these students within a network of universities. This society is based on invitation only and applies to the top 15% of college and university sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as top-performing graduate students in all fields of study, based on their academic achievements. The UNB Saint John Golden Key Society has its events open to all students regardless of invitation, as it is our belief that all students have the potential to excel in academics, leadership and service.

Promote a safe and period-positive environment at UNB Saint John through a variety of campaigns, initiatives, promotions and projects. Help reduce period poverty on the UNB Saint John campus and within the greater Saint John area, specifically targeting inequitable access to menstrual hygiene products, facilities and education. Ensure menstrual products are accessible to every UNBSJ student in collaboration with the UNB Students’ Representative Council and the University of New Brunswick. MEDLIFE is a volunteer-led global health organization whose mission is to help families achieve greater freedom from the constraints of poverty, empowering them to live healthier lives. We seek to achieve this goal by partnering with motivated individuals from communities experiencing poverty and working to improve their access to Medicine, Education, and Community Development. Along with affiliate Chapters, MEDLIFE UNIVERSITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK raises money for Medicine, Education, and Community Development projects for low-income families around the world and is committed to learning about the inequalities of global issues, while promoting MEDLIFE's mission within our local community. While also giving the opportunity to youth to go on service learning to those communities and have a hands-on experience volunteering and shadowing healthcare workers

Empower Palestinian Students: Provide a platform for Palestinian students at UNBSJ to share their experiences, culture, and perspectives. Advocate for Human Rights: Actively engage in advocacy efforts to promote human rights, social justice, and peace in the region. PALESTINIAN SOCIETY
The Politics Society is a community for all UNB Saint John students interested in both Canadian and International politics. We highlight important dates, deadlines, and advising information for poli sci students as well as activities that connect faculty and students from our department. Additionally, we host informal hang outs where like-minded students can meet each other like bowling nights, and formal events educating our community on both Canadian and International political topics such as our Tenant’s Rights Workshop.

This society is intended for students in the science field, but any students at UNBSJ, Dalhousie Medical School Saint John, and NBCC students affiliated with UNBSJ are welcome. The Science Society not only aims to provide opportunities for mentorship, connections, and education but also foster a positive environment by hosting fun events for science students to get to know one another. We want to create a culture at UNBSJ for science students that are more than just coming in for classes. The goal of this society is to make it a place where students network, learn from each other and have enjoy one another’s company.
