The Green Society is a student-led, environmentalist organization dedicated to improving and promoting environmental sustainability, awareness, and stewardship, on campus and in the community. Green society promotes awareness of environmental issues and green initiatives such as community cleanups and sustainability workshops.

The African Caribbean Society of the University of New Brunswick is committed to raising cultural knowledge, building solidarity, and empowering Africans and Caribbean descendants in our academic community. Global Medical Brigades is an international non-profit organization that brings together students and healthcare professionals to develop sustainable health systems in our partner communities in Guatemala. Each year, we travel to under-resourced areas where access to healthcare is otherwise limited or nonexistent. Additionally, as a group, we engage in local outreach initiatives to support the health needs of the Saint John community.

THE ART SOCIETY
The Golden Key International Society is committed to the advancement of academics, leadership, and service. Golden Key provides academic recognition to high-achieving students and establishes professional and social contacts for these students within a network of universities. This society is based on invitation only and applies to the top 15% of college and university sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as top-performing graduate students in all fields of study, based on their academic achievements. MEDLIFE is a volunteer-led global health organization whose mission is to help families achieve greater freedom from the constraints of poverty, empowering them to live healthier lives. We seek to achieve this goal by partnering with motivated individuals from communities experiencing poverty and working to improve their access to Medicine, Education, and Community Development. Along with affiliate Chapters, MEDLIFE UNIVERSITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK raises money for Medicine, Education, and Community Development projects for low-income families around the world and is committed to learning about the inequalities of global issues, while promoting MEDLIFE's mission within our local community. While also giving the opportunity to youth to go on service learning to those communities and have a hands-on experience volunteering and shadowing healthcare workers

The Politics Society is a community for all UNB Saint John students interested in both Canadian and International politics. We highlight important dates, deadlines, and advising information for poli sci students as well as activities that connect faculty and students from our department. Additionally, we host informal hang outs where like-minded students can meet each other like bowling nights, and formal events educating our community on both Canadian and International political topics such as our Tenant’s Rights Workshop.
